What we collect when you visit, book, join, or sign up, and what we do with it.
Last updated October 2026This policy explains what The Tips Golf LLC ("The Tips", "we") collects when you visit thetipsgolf.com, book a bay, join as a member, or sign up for emails or texts, and what we do with it.
What you give us. Your name, email, phone number, and birthday or age where we ask for it. Booking details, membership details, and anything you write in an event inquiry or message to us.
Payments. Card payments are handled by our payment providers. We don't store your full card number.
Phone calls. If our phone assistant answers your call, the call is recorded and transcribed so we can answer your question and follow up. The assistant tells you this at the start of the call.
What your browser sends. Pages you visit, links you click, your device and browser type, and roughly where you are, through cookies and similar tools.
To run your booking or membership: confirmations, reminders, door access, receipts, and billing.
To answer you when you contact us or ask about an event.
To send you emails or texts you signed up for. You can stop them anytime.
To see how the site is used and how our ads are doing, so we can improve both.
To keep the venue and our customers safe, and to meet legal and tax requirements.
We share only what each service needs to do its job for us: Golf O'Clock, for bookings and memberships. Square, for payments, gift cards, and our loyalty program. Klaviyo, for emails and texts. Tripleseat, for event inquiries. Our phone answering service, for calls. Webflow, which hosts our website. Adobe, for the fonts on our site. Google and Meta, for site analytics and ads. Microsoft, for Clarity.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if the business is ever sold.
We don't sell your information. We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Text messages. Your phone number and texting consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Booking reminders are texts about your booking. Marketing texts go only to people who checked the box to get them. Reply STOP to any text to stop. Texting terms are on our Texting Terms page.
Loyalty. When you book with a phone number, we may add you to our Square loyalty program so your visits earn rewards.
Google, Meta, and Klaviyo use cookies to measure visits to our site, and Google and Meta use them to show our ads to people who have been here.
Microsoft Clarity records how visitors move through our pages, like clicks and scrolling, so we can fix what's confusing.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and facebook.com/adpreferences.
Emails: click unsubscribe at the bottom of any email.
Texts: reply STOP.
To see, fix, or delete the information we have about you, email info@thetipsgolf.com. We'll answer within 30 days. Some records, like payment and tax records, we have to keep.
As long as you're a customer or member, and after that only as long as we need it for the reasons above or the law requires.
Our site and services aren't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
