The Summer Hours Agreement

Assumption of risk and release of liability

I understand that using The Tips during posted Summer Hours means no staff are on site. I voluntarily choose to enter and use the facility, including the golf bays and equipment, during these hours.

I understand that indoor golf carries inherent risks, including being struck by a club or ball, slips and falls, and injuries from equipment. I also understand that during Summer Hours there are no staff, security, or supervision on site and no emergency help on site, and that the risks I am accepting include fire, smoke, medical emergencies, and the actions of other members, guests, or visitors. I assume these risks for myself and for any guests I bring.

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, I release The Tips Golf, its owners, and its employees from claims for injury, death, or property damage arising from my use of the facility, or my guests' use, during staff-free hours, including claims based on the absence of staff, security, or supervision, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

I am responsible for my guests. Anyone I admit to the facility during Summer Hours enters under this agreement, and I accept liability for their conduct, their safety, and any damage they cause. If a guest I admit brings a claim against The Tips Golf arising from Summer Hours access, I will indemnify and hold The Tips Golf, its owners, and its employees harmless from that claim, including reasonable legal costs. No one under 18 may be present unless their parent or guardian is present.

If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

Code of conduct

I have read and agree to follow the Code of Conduct at thetipsgolf.com/code-of-conduct, including the members-and-guests access rules, the food and drink rules, and the equipment rules. I understand that Summer Hours access may be paused or withdrawn for violations, and that reinstatement decisions are made by ownership.

Cameras and damage charges

I understand that cameras record the entrance, common areas, and bays during all hours, and that door activity is logged. No cameras are in the restrooms.

I authorize The Tips Golf to charge my card on file for damage beyond normal wear that I or my guests cause during Summer Hours, up to $500 per visit without advance notice, based on the actual documented cost of repair or replacement. Damage must be identified within 7 days of my visit. For damage over $500, The Tips will contact me before any charge. I may dispute any charge by emailing info@thetipsgolf.com.
